Master Thesis

The purpose of the MSc thesis is to develop students’ ability to conduct independent and well-documented research on specialized topics within the field of Cybersecurity. Through the research process, students cultivate critical thinking and deepen their theoretical and practical understanding of the principles, technologies, and methods that underpin contemporary research in the field. In particular it aims to:

  • Deepen students’ knowledge in advanced scientific areas of Cybersecurity, such as cryptography, privacy protection, network and systems security, and intrusion detection.
  • Enable understanding and application of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Develop the ability to design and implement a complete research project.
  • Advance knowledge through the production of new results or the improvement of existing techniques.
